“Nytt Svenskt Tenn” opens September 16, 2024, featuring ten female designers honoring Estrid Ericson’s 80-year legacy. Margot Barolo, Eva Hild, Annika Jarring, Anna Kraitz, Ulrika Mårtensson, Signe Persson-Melin, Ingegerd Råman, Anna von Schewen, Eva Schildt, and Sissi Westerberg created contemporary pewter objects after visiting Ericson’s birthplace Hjo. The exhibition presents tactile sculptures, tea services, lighting, candlesticks, and decorative objects, demonstrating modern interpretations of traditional Swedish pewter craft for Svenskt Tenn’s anniversary celebration.
